About two years ago I signed a contract to purchase a tape of animated scripture stories each month. I didn't realize I was obligated to continue purchasing tapes every month year after year after year. I tried to get out of the contract but they threatened to sue me in court and told me I would have to pay attorneys fees and court costs which would be more than just continuing to buy their tapes.
Considering the sales pitch about teaching Christian values, you would expect the company to practice the principle of forgiveness. They don't act like they've ever heard of it. The tapes are over-priced and appeal only to children. I'm not asking for my money back, I would just like to cancel the contract so that I don't have to keep paying for merchandise I don't want.
