To cut a long story short, DirecTV conned, tricked and certainly lied to me! My contract was ending when they offered me a 2nd digital video recorder with no additional commitment. I accepted. Now I want to cancel because I think their service is terrible. Surprise: I am told that I agreed to another year of contract, though I never signed any contract. I can cancel, but it will cost me well over $200.
To my fellow ripped off customers, it is time to fight back in a serious legal way! We should file many lawsuits against these money hungry gluttons. Are we going to keep letting direct TV take money out of our accounts illegally and without permission? Together we can show them we are more than just a number! We are angry people who were ripped off and lied to, and we will be heard, so help us God. Please join me in my pursuit for justice.
PS If you are thinking of getting direct TV, you are making a huge mistake. I would rather eat a bowl of garbage than re-sign with these people!!!
