We started out looking for a pure white toy poodle, and came upon Rush Kennels. We received an email from Sheila who sent aus a picture of the parents to be siire is Toy Boy and dame is Sugar.
We posted $200.00 deposit and remainder of $575.00 was to be paid upon shipment of puppy.
We were notified that our WHITE toy poodle puppy "Ostara" was born on 2/15/08 by Sheila. We were excited and commenced to requesting photos of our puppy and was told they were planning a photo shoot and we would have them shortly... Now this should of been a red flag because we NEVER received any photos instead we told our puppy was shipping and much to our surprise they shipped it by ground instead of by air as advertised on their web site. It took 5 days for our puppy to reach us andwe were excited until she came...
Our "white" toy poodle is actually apricot color, and has severe under bite that I'm sure will cost plenty to fix and also has hernia. Her paperwork listed her birthdate as 1/21/08 not 2/15/08 like were told. And her parents were Toy Boy and Mitsy Black Bitsy not the same parents we were emailed about.
We did not receive the promised health contract, or any of the toys and outfits that they advertised and they debited our account $625.00 with out letting us know of the increase in price.
We have sent email to them with no response. We called and was told Sheila would be in touch... Still haven't heard a word from them.
All we want is to hear from these people and explain what happened. We will keep our puppy because as animal lovers it would not be right to do anything but have Ostara's defects fixed.
