Seller posts items for sale on eBay, generally vintage photographs and entertainment industry memorabilia. At close of auction, I requested a standard format invoice in order to pay. Waited two weeks and received no invoice, only a manually typed email with a URL link in it to supposedly pay for the item. Only problem was that the URL was a broken link and did not go anywhere.
I again wrote to seller requesting a standard format eBay invoice. Seller issued non-payment Alert to eBay stating I never paid for the item. I repeatedly responded to the Alert with no acknowledgement or response from the seller, when I had tried on various occaisions using methods prescribed by the seller and even contacted them about trying to handle the transaction by other means with no replies. I finally forced a payment through Paypal and the same day the seller issued a non-payment strike against me that could lead to my own eBay suspension... I proved to eBay authorities that I had in fact paid for the item and that they never responded to any of my queries since the auction ended. Ebay authorities removed the non-payment strike against my membership account but I never received the items from the seller. The seller has ignored ALL requests for a refund.
The eBay seller's username is altezahun. They are a total FRAUD and scam.
