About a year ago I was moving from south florida to central florida. I called this company and have them estimate the moving cost. The owner of this company (Demitri) came and gave us an estimate of how much it would cost to move. He quoted us for $700. He asked for a deposit (he said he'll return it the next day if we decided not to use his service). A day before the scheduled moving time, he called us and told us that he will need another $600 extra from what our moving cost would be (which is $700).
At that point, we felt that he's trying to cheat us out for more money. We called him back and told him that we will not be using his service anymore. We demanded our deposit back. He stated that he will mail the deposit back to us to the address that we provided for him. After a month had past, we did not receive our deposit in the mail. We called him back a couple of times to try to get the deposit money back. Every single time (up until now) we called him, he promised us that he will send our deposit money. Now it has been almost a year and we still haven't gotten our deposit back.
