I searched online after a friend had talked about a free credit report he had received and after looking at a bunch of companies I knew nothing about I randomly picked My Private Credit, first mistake. I filled out all the required information and received my free report. I then went through the site trying to cancel the membership, they do not make this part easy, and got to the point where I thought I was successful, thus washing my hands of this company. Turns out, 5 charges later I wasn't even close to being successful. $11.95 a month for them not doing anything and my being charged for a service that I had cancelled. Turns out accoding to a MY Private Credit employee, apparently the service was never cancelled... Please be careful when using online credit report agencies, sometimes it's better to pay up front and know then to wonder where random charges come from in your checking account.
