I have rented from rent a center since the yr 2000 i have recieved several items from them from beds, big screen tvs, living room furniture, washer and dryers i paid them weekley sometimes i would pay every two weeks but it was always caught up my first set of the washer and dryer always had problems so they came and exchanged it out for another new set well new set still having problems they didnt care i called so many times they said i didnt take out the extra insurance lol that i knew nothing about anyways they made a deal with me if i paid them 550.00 it would pay off my bedroom set and computer and i would be done this came from there big wig manager i said if i do that can i stil get stuff or sure lol that was a joke the first week i gave them 350.00
The second week we had a death in the family i had to leave i called them and told them i am at a furnel and i get a call from my daughter said the police just called they were doing a report from rentacenter about the 200.00 i said omg they knew what was going on so my daughter informed the police they couldnt beleave it
when i got back i went in and paid the 200.00 well my daughter wentthru a divorce and her and kids moved in so i was in need of a bed so i called they said we can sell you one but not rent one i said after i have been a customer all these yrs this is what i get so i said fine put it in my daughters name because she already had account there they flat out said as long as she is in my home they could not rent to her i was so mad
I even told them she has her own account there in matter of fact she still has coupons there where if she gets something they use what she has paid before towards something say if she bought a tv and she return it and she paid 300.00 on it they would apply that 300 to another tv if she went and got one but to say they wont rent to her because she is in my home is uncalled fo
