On 01/01/08 I placed an order with HOB for 3 bridesmaids dresses in sizes 6,8 & 14. On 01/11/08 I sent an email request to Karen (ecomm9) at HOB to order an additional yard of fabric (fabric is ordered only through this form). The email stated please contact me for my credit card information (didn't want to just send it via email). Plus the order from states you can give your credit card info via the telephone.
On 01/14 I received an email confirmation for my order in sizes 5,6 and 14. When I inquired about the discrepency in size from my original order, I could get a faxed guarantee that the correct sizes had been ordered. It's not HOB policy to send a customer the order form (sent to the designer) with the details I was told. The most anyone could do is send me an email stating they really ordered a size 8 and not size 5.
Given all the negaive commentary on the internet about HOB, I now wonder if I will ever receive these dresses let alone the correct size.
On 01/14/08 I also followed up with Karen (since she had not called for my credit card info). I even sent the request to Melanie (ecomm2). Since I did not receive a call from either employee I ordered the fabric from another vendor.
On 02/21 I noticed that my credit card had been charged for the fabric. They must have taken my credit card info from the bridesmaids order since I never called to authorize this order.
