I recently quit a company that goes by The United Readers Services. I quit because it is a big scam. If this company calls you it will show up as CRC on your caller ID. The company changes its name every week and offers a $1000.00 Shopping spree or the promis of an entry into a sweepstakes and a free trip for two to over 80 destinations. All though I am hurting for money I can not bring my self to rip off anouther hard working American. Me and many fellow co/workers left at the same time. The company wants you to by a 60 month magazine subscription for almost $1000.00. But when they get your credit card info you will not recive a thing. THe company goes by names such as United Readers Services, The Publishers, The Braden Group, CRC and The national sweepstakes center in Gerogia. Please do not be ripped off by this company. We have spent this week going to the athoritis and calling many media outlets in atlanta and have ended up empty handed. I know for a fact that the consumers are being ripped off because we are told to lie to them on the phone about how we got there information. I am currently following up with the BBB. But local athourities seem not to care that they are breaking the law and The Gainesville Police Dept did not know how to handel the situtation. So if anyone has any advice on how to nail these basterds Im open for suggestions. But mostly I wanted to get the word out to as many people as I can. You see they are not only ripping people off in Gerogia, but all over the country EX: in NEw York and the Bronx Area. I hope this helps atleast one person. Then it would be worth it. Again if anyone knows how we must contact to tell this story to let us know. We have had no luck with the media or Police in Georgia!
