Direct TV inadvertently billed me three times for one movie that I watched on their Pay Per View System. I called to get the erroneous charges taken off, and was informed that if the customer service rep gave me a credit, I would never be able to dispute a pay per view charge again. Even though this was Direct TV's error, I would never, for the life of the account be able to dispute another pay per view charge. I told the CSR that they were in effect loading my bill. And that was illegal. She said she was only doing as she was told.
I've written to an SVP at Direct TV to comfirm this policy. If it is indeed true, all of those people that are subjected to these chargs should file a class action law suit with me.
As well, I would like to challenge their 2-year policy. My husband ordered a DIrect TV reciever not realizing that if we change anything, we are subjected to an additional 2 year committment with a huge free for early deactivation. Is there anyonr else who has been subjected to these business practices and would like to challenge this?
