I received an offer via e-mail in regards to the ADT $99.00 install fee, free equiptment on a three year contract. I contacted the number on the website and scheduled an appointment with the service rep. I fully explained to the rep that my house was pre wired and with no telephone line. The rep told me that they offer a wireless monitor and would only be an addition few dollars a month. No problem. I scheduled the install date and PREPAID the the installation fee.
Installation Rep showed up at my house in a two seater car??? He told me that he was there just to install the wireless monitor and that was it. I called the CSR for ADT and she told me that that was all that they were scheduled to do. Whereas the offer they sent me was a full hook up.
Anyrate, I called and spoke to rep and asked just to get my money back and I would do another source on the alarm. I canceled the installation on 02/09/08 and was told that my money would be returned to me 7-9 days. I'm stioll waiting. I called and spoke to the supervisor for ADT and she told me that it could be thirty days until I see my money. BE AWARE of their offers and do not prepay!!
