Fraudulant appointment setting! No response from company!

11/28 - I faxed an order form to Telemarketing 21 for 20 pre-set appointments. The appointments were supposed to be made for 12/4,12/5 and 12/7. Telemarketing 21 (T21) said they would deliver the leads the night before between 6:30 - 10:30 pm CST.

On 12/3, I stayed up and waited for my leads... They never came. I called the company, but no one was there. I sent an email and about an hour later (now midnight at my house), I got a response saying "We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to deliver your Tuesday appointments."

I had lost a day of work and I was very upset. Not to mention, I paid a lot of money for these leads ($28.00 per lead)!!

So, I waited the next night to see if my leads came through. They did and I was very excited... Until I actually went to the appointments. 9 out of the 10 people I visited on 12/5 said they told the company that called them that they did NOT want an appointment! I was very upset. I called Jennifer Opra and left her a few voice mail messages. I heard NOTHING. Finally, on 12/6, I called T21 and talked with Katie Bailey. She told me there was nothing I could do except fill out a Quality Review form within 24 hours of the set appointments. Well, since Jennifer never called me back, it was now PAST 24 hours for all except a couple appointments (and by the time I got all the forms filled out, it would have been after 24 hours).

I sent a request to find out if I could turn the form in even though the 24 hours had passed. I never got a response.

I then emailed Jennifer Opra two times asking her how they were going to GUARANTEE the appointments were REAL and that the people were expecting me. For those of you who aren't familiar with selling medicare insurance... You will get your insurance license REVOKED for going to homes if you do NOT have an appointment and are not invited. It is completely against CMS rules. So, at this point, it wasn't worth having my license revoked.

I waited for a response and never got one. I filed a complaint with the Dallas BBB, but T21 never responded.

Finally, on 2/8, I sent another email to Jennifer asking how they were going to resolve this and how I was going to get a refund.

I got a response from Brian Krueger - the Quality Control Manager. He said he would "let" me fill out the Quality Control form, but that he had to have it by the end of the day. He sent me this email at 12:33 PM - giving me 4.5 hours to fill out the form. However, since I was working when he sent it, I didn't get it until 10:30 PM that evening. I responded to see if I could still fill it out. I also told him that his request was unrealistic. I'm sure he knew that when he sent the email.

He also told me that they have policies that state they do not give refunds. However, I NEVER signed anything agreeing to that. The only thing I turned in was an order form.

I am in process of getting the names of the company owners from the Texas Secretary of State. I have been advised to send a certified letter to the owners requesting a refund. If that doesn't happen, I have been advised to go to small claims court.

I would love to see if there are enough people who have been victims of T21 to make a case for a class action lawsuit. I will keep watching the site. Someone has to do something about this company to stop them from ripping people off!
