The other thing that our company rumor mill's been saying is that Lou Pearlman's second in command, Greg Macdonald (McDonald - who knows) is saying he was related to Col. Parker, elvis' manager. Yeah, right. And I have a some swampland in orlando to sell you. Also, that he allegedly managed some 70s bands like linda rondstat and the doobie brothers (whoever they are).
I doubt any of its true. As to the people who said they came to an open call and saw someone proclaiming to be john daly, hey, guess what, IT REALLY IS JOHN DALY, producer of terminator, platoon, the last emperor, etc. Sorry, that one if 100% true. He works out of an office in the back of our suite on his movie deals. Yes, it really is him. Sorry to burst your bubble but not everything here is bullsh*t. This one's true.
All I can say is, they need to pay the scouts more and the staff more. We bust our butts and work lots of hours while all the fat cats in florida make money off us. I heard a rumor that some of the bigwigs made their money from arms smuggling back in the 80s and that's how they got the $ to open the company - (not transcontinental but Options, which merged with trans con)/
Who knows? All I know is I'm staying here til I find something else that pays real money.
