Kids.com contacted me by mail shortly after I had my son. I found the letter enlightening since many people had mad mention that he should be 'in pictures'. When I contacted the office I spoke to a lady and we set-up a date a time for me to come to their office with my son and several photos. Once she reviewed the pictures and saw him in person she stated that he would be a great fit for their company. We signed a 5 year contract and paid $595.00. We were given instructions that a letter would come to our home with a photographer's name and phone number. I would need to contact him and set-up a time for him to get his headshot taken. These pictures would be taken every 6 months and would only cost a sitting fee of $20.00.
My son was only 4 months old when I got his first set of headshots done. Every six months a received a letter letting me know it was time for another set of headshots. I had taken him to only 4 more sittings when I realized it was past the 6 months since the last picture were taken. I attempted to go to the Web site and it kept saying I had an invalid address (which I know wasn't possible since I had it set as a favorite). This is when I tried to call the office and got a recording stating 'This number has been disconnected'. I started searching around the internet and when I came across other people who went through what I was going through, I knew I couldn't let them get away with it!
