I have 2 1/2 year old twins when they were 1 i signed them both up for modeling at the kids.com agency in Lynbrook, Ny. They advised me that i had to go to Liz & Joe Schmidtt Photography to take pictures of the twins in which i did.
6 months or maybe 8 months later i received a letter stating it was time for updated pictures, in which I then when to the photographer with the twins and paid them again for updated pictures.
Its been 3 weeks and their pictures of when the were 1 are still posted so i called and the agency's number just kept on ringing, i then called the NJ number in which liz schmidt gave me and there number is out of order.
I then called the photographer and Joe advised me that it seems like it went out of business. I asked him if i could at lease have 1 pictures of each child since it never was even posted on the computer. He said no Id have to pay.
After reading some reviews I see that people have made small claim court cases and won with kids.com not showing up and they got there money back.
I am interested to do the same since i paid for 2 kids -and still got letters stating to update my pictures with this studio, whom I feel knew they were out of business but still take peoples money.
If someone could inform me if Its worth my while or am I just out of luck.
