I've also been a victim of this company. I got their service on 02/05/07. At the time they didn't have any promotions. I was never told I was going to be in a 2-year contract. Today I called to cancel the service and first I had to wait over 20 minutes, then a robot kept on offering promotions so I would stay with them even though I had explained to her that I didn't need nor want the service anymore. We went over the same thing at least 20 times. When she finally realized I didn't want/need the service she told me she was going to be disconnecting the service but that I was going to be subject to a disconnection fee and that I had to agreed to the disconnection fee or she wasn't going to disconnect the service. So it went like this: Do you give me permission to disconnect the service? I said yes. Then she said: Do you give me permission to charge you a disconnection fee? And I said no. Then she said she wasn't going to be able to disconnect the service until I said I gave her permission to charge me the disconnection fee. Once I told her I was recording the conversation she agreed to cancel the service even though I didn't agree with the disconnection fee.
Stay away from this company.
