I hope you are able to help me. I find myself on the receiving end of a firewood scam. The scam was perpetrated by Andrew Fleshman, owner of Innovative Lawn & Landscape operating under the phone number: 740-972-3087, based at 11069 Riverwind Drive, Powell Ohio 43065.
On 30NOV07 I purchased and have a receipt for 1 full cord of wood from Innovative Lawn & Landscape. However, once stacked, the wood Mr. Fleshman delivered and dumped only amounted to 45 square feet, a full cord is 128 square feet. Mr. Fleshman's delivery is therefore 65% short of a full cord.
I contacted the Delaware County Auditor's division of weights and measures at 740-833-2910. Their investigator, Mr. Paul Howard confirmed that we had been shorted.
Through numerous subsequent phone calls Mr. Fleshman first promised to bring out the balance of the wood and then committed to reimburse our money. Neither one of the arrangements were ever honored.
