I shopped for the perfect ring for my fiance and finally found the perfect one when I did so I purchased it! She said YES and away we went back to Zales to have it sized. It was hard for her to hand it over to be sized and the employee said it would only be gone for a few weeks and then we would be able to come back and pick it up. When the time came to pick the ring up from being sized. We were not expecting to see what fraud lay before us. The diamond was NOT the same diamond I had purchased for my fiance and we immediatley began to question the lady helping us.
We told her this was not the right ring and then she proceeded to have us try it on. Yes it fit, but that was not what was in question. The real diamond had no flaws to the naked eye and was beautiful. The diamond we received after getting it sized was scarred with numerous flaws that were VERY visable to the naked eye. We ask for the manager and they were not there.
We asked to fill out a complaint cardbut to our dismay it was not an option. Then we were given a business card of the number for the manager which happenned to be on vacation at the time. Needless to say we tried calling that number and it just went straight to the store we had just been at. We left in dissapointment and disbelief at the fraud that never should have happenned. Case and point we will have to be dealing with these yahoos until this is resolved.
This is not the end and to anyone that tries to deal with this company I would suggest that you be very aware of the fraudulent activity that may accure. This is a special event in two peoples lives and for people to be screwing with peoples emotions in this manner is absolutly unexceptable!
