Boy I have been having non stop problems with comcast since I switched my service when I moved from Gainesville to Chantilly. I had no problems in Gainesville. I am not even filing a complaint on my service problems with comcast today. My problem is that starting in Nov I have been receiving collection notices from Credit Protection Association stating I owe comcast 1408.80 for equipment that I transferred services with! I blew it off at first thinking it was a scam there was no way comcast would be turning me in for owing equipment that I do not owe I was so confused. I called comcast on Dec 15th they looked into it and told me that it was their mistake that when the guy came to install at my new house, he transferred out my boxes and they never put that into the system. She said she would take care of the problem. Well after receiving another collection notice on 12/31/07 I call comcast again just to make sure they took care of the situation on 1/15/08 I spoke with a very friendly guy named Jerald. He told me that it was not taken care of yet that is why I was still receiving collection notices and that he was filing a claim to get it taken care of, that I could call any time after Thursday 1/17/08 & my claim number was 639-740

Today is 1/20/08 I checked my voice mail messages and received a call from someone claiming they were from comcast that I could call a (703) number to discuss it with her name was Rose. So I called up comcast got connected with a guy I couldn't even catch his name cause I could hardly understand anything he was saying to me. I explained to him what was going on & after putting me on hold, he tells me that I need to go into my local office & prove that the converters were turned in. I said excuse me how do you expect me to do that??? You guys have my equipment you guys are the ones who screwed up not me. I asked at that point to talk to a supervisor... He tells me its going to do me no good cause he is going to say the exact same thing. I said ok let him tell me that I want you to connect me to your supervisor. He transefers me but I kid you not the phone rang for 5 min solid before I hung up. They never picked up and there was no voice mail. How convenient. Meanwhile they are falsly hitting my credit report why this doesn't seem to be something they can fix is beyond me I did nothing wrong in this situation... Oh wait I did I continued to have service with a company that just doesn't care!
