A&E Factory service is the service company nationally that if you call for service on your Maytag appliance that answers the phone. You are at their mercy for repairs and are required to sit for 4 hours waiting for them to come. That's bad enough that they can't narrow it down better than that, but that's what it is. Today 1/19/08, I waited from 8-12 (While wasting the whole morning) and I called them at 12:00 to see where the repair guy was. I was told that the Tech is running behind and that I was next. At 3:40 I called back and was told by their so called Customer Service department that the Tech had to reschedule because he didn't have the right tools. I guess the guy left for work without his tool box. They must think that Americans are ignorant to believe such a lame excuse.
If they over booked, they should be honest. The customer service department also said there is no allowance for the time you wait even if they do not show up. I wonder if you are not home and miss their service tech, is the customer charged for a service call? I wonder if I can get an attorney to sue them for my time and aggravation? Beware of poor customer service from A & E Factory Service. Try to find someone else to repair your appliances.
