I went to Fashion Bug and purchased a pair of sandals, Sz 8 with my Visa Check Card. I wore them the next day and my toes kept pushing out of the top because the straps were elastic. I thought that purchasing a larger size would help so I took the shoes back to the store with the receipt and I exchanged them for a Sz 8 1/2.
I wore them the following day and the same problem occurred. I took them back but this time I didn't have the receipt, the lady behind the counter said that was fine and she had me sign what I thought was a voucher for a new pair of shoes. (she explained nothing to me about this voucher) I found another pair of sandals but these were $3.00 cheaper. The "lady" at the register told me very rudely that I would have to find something in the store that was $3.00! I told her that there was nothing else that I wanted and she told me that there was no way for me to get my $3.00 because I had signed the paper and didn't have the receipt.
This was all despite the fact that she had sold me the other shoes the day before and they say "Fashion Bug" on them and were the same price the day before. To say the least I was highly irritated. I had to go to their jewelry section and try to find something that was $3.00. The only thing I could find was a fake metal anklet that was around $2.00. Amazingly, she gave me the coin change for the remainder of the purchase.
Now, the "new" shoes I have are already falling apart and the anklet is completely unwearable because it cuts into my skin! Not only will I never shop there again, I won't even walk back in there to return any of this junk because they are so irrational and rude! None of my friends will shop there again either.
