I received my Dec telephone bill from AT & T - there was a charge of $14.95 from TRIVOICE INTNATIONAL (1-866-473-1999) and also a 2nf charge of $14.95 from ORBIT TELECOM (1-800-263-0206).
My husband contacted both of the above companies and was told that "Jacqualine Corley" added this service by online registration. Even though our name is very different - they allowed some else to charge to our telephone number. I would think that these complanies would have something in place to verify if the person who is charging these services would be authorized to do so.
Both companies did provide us with a cancellation number - we will not be paying for this service (which we did not authorize).
A T & T was contacted - and I was told that there was nothing in place to prevent this from happening again.
