I see many other reports about this same company on usacomplaints.com, and my experience is very typical with the others — being billed on my Qwest bill for an Orbit Telecom service that I did not order.
When I called Orbit Telecom, the name of the person they gave me who supposedly signed up for this service on my account was a name totally unknown to me. The customer service person I was dealing with at Orbit told me that somebody probably gave them a number that was mistakenly mine. I resent that it is that easy for somebody to add a charge to a statement that I am used to paying without scrutiny. I resent that Qwest does not have tighter controls to prevent this from happening. Orbit says that it may take Qwest one or two billing cycles before a credit is issued for this charge. So I'm not yet sure of the final result.
