Here is my story on how AfterHours Formalwear ripped me off. I was the best man in my soon to be wife's sisters wedding. We went to AfterHours Formalwear and ordered are tuxedos. They had trouble getting the groom and his father outfit's right but that is not why I am here. I went in and picked up my tux and paid for it. So the next day I head over to the groom's house to get ready for the wedding. I put my tux on as I was walking around it seemed like this musty smell was following me around. I soon realized that it was the tux that smelled. It smelled like the person who wore it before me was in a casket and not living. So I walk in to the living room and the other guy standing up in the wedding was giving the wrong color button us shirt. Luckily he had one of his own that matched. So we head to the wedding windows down because of the smell. We get there and the grooms mother realizes that they have given me the wrong vest. The one they gave me was gold the one the other groomsman was wearing was yellow. So we call the place and they say that they have one but they won't bring it to us. So we had to have someone drive out there to pick it up. The vest arrived just in time and was only missing one button (the one that is most noticeable). So there I was the rest of the night stinky and missing a button. We talked to the store and the staff there was very rude and even threw a pen at the groom's mother. We talked to their corporate headcounters and I received a message that I will be refunded. I call back and the guy is not in. So I leave a message to just put the charges back on to my card. I called again and the guy is out of town. How hard is it to charge the card back or send me a check, they had no trouble charging me for a busted up stinky tux. It has been 6 months since the wedding and I have not heard from them so I guess I can kiss that money good bye.
My fianc went to David's Bridal to look at wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses. I believe that they are part of the AfterHours Formalwear Company. Well they burned us by selling our info to royal prestige aka gateway bridal. I will leave it at that if you don't know what royal prestige is do a search on this site for it and read what the people have to say about it. We are having a bigger wedding party than her sister I am not going to go through them seeing that they can't even get 2 tuxedos to match. I can't imagine them being able to get 5 to match.
