My name is Amanda I own a small auto repair shop. I had a man come into my shop and told me that he was going to save me money on EVERYTHING. He said he was from Trans Tech Merchant Group and he was going to get me out of my lease with Northern Leasing Co. I thought great i won't be paying these guys anymore. Wrong! I signed a lease with Lease Finance Group LLc. And they were going to get rid of my old terminal, and give me a brand new one. Well what was going to be a payment of 59.95 a month for 48 months turned into 73.00 dollars a month because my credit wasn't all that great and they needed to up my monthly charge to 65.00 plus taxes and OTHER charges.
Ok, so after a year of paying these guys I started really looking at my bill. First I notice 65.00 that's my lease payment, ok a big deal. Then 2.50 for a non complinace insurance fee, ok i need to give them insurance information (as i did before, but again no one recieved it) so i did again. Then there is a. 98 charge for property tax management fee. After I found out about this one I was told by a supervisor Madlene Tabor, "I was being stupid and should just pay my bill". The property tax management fee is a proptery tax fee that you and I pay on things that are owned in the your building that you have to pay for not your customers. My favorite has been the sales tax, I looked for this company on the colorado dept of revenue web site even called also. There isn't a company on file. So how do you make someone pay for sales tax on something that isn't sold in the same state? Again Madlene Tabor told me that she "couldn't give out that information because it is privite". Well in the state of Colorado you have to have a sales tax lic on file, and in plain view for your customers to see. And opon request must show or prove the lic number. Sorry i'm not buying that one either.
I have changed banks and they don't get a dime. I have filed complaints with the Dept. Of Revenue of Colorado for the sales tax and property tax fee. I will be contacting the Atty. Gen. Of ILL. Also, and the BBB for ILL and CO.
Keep this in mind, you can always buy your own terminal for hundreds or even thousands less than what they are selling them. 3000.00 is way too much for something that costs 100.00 on ebay. And if they can't wait for you to read the "whole" contract it's not meant to be. Better yet if they can't give you any information AT ALL you don't have to sign it. I learned my lesson.
As far as LFG you are not getting a dime from me.
