We purchased a Mitsubishi 52 inch DLP Projection Television from Circuit City on August 26 from Circuit City in Greenfield Wisconsin. We also purchased the extended protection plan.
The television was delievered September 1.2006. On January 10 the television stopped working. After the repairman came he told us the bulb had burned out and would order a new one and call when it was in. That repair took about a month.
On July 29 the television stopped working again. A repairman came out and said the same thing that the lamp had burned out and he would order a new one and call when it was in. That repair also took one month to complete. I contacted Circuit City because I wanted a new television. I was advised if this happened again it would fall under their lemon law and we would receive a new t.V.
On December 28 the television stopped working again. I called the extended service plan who told me we would have to have the television looked at to determine if it would qualify. The repairman called the company and told them this was the third time this bulb was being replaced and they instructed him to order the replacement parts and I again contacted the extended warranty place. They said they needed to repair again because it does not fall under their lemon law and if something more continues then they will start a file. It is January 21 and my t.V. Still does not work. I don't even know who the District Manager is because they won't release his/her name and I am stuck with an expensive crappy t.V.
I have even e-mailed and mailed a certified letter ot Mitsubishi and they have not responded.
