Phone Under Warranty Had No Water Damage But They Charge $100 And Say It Does Liars, dishonest, speak with fork tongue, scammers!

My daughter has a Sidekick III which was under warranty. The backlight on the screen suddenly went blank and I called T-Mobile to replace the phone. They sent me a new phone and I sent back the old phone. They had me check on the water damage notification and they said that there was no water damage. Now I see my bill is outrageous this month and it is because they charged me $107 and on the bill said this was for out of warranty phone. When I called and spoke to the billing department they said that it was because the phone had water damage. Now, the bill says out of warranty and T-Mobile says water damage, which is it?

I called back and spoke to a supervisor and told him that the phone was working fine just the backlight was not working and there was no way the phone could have water damage. He said that there are all different things that can cause water damage including sweat from your body on the phone. This phone if it is not being used, is ALWAYS in its phone case. My daughter is neurotic about keeping the phone in good condition so if she is not using it, it is in its case and not being sweat on!!!

T-Mobile, you should be ashamed of yourself. I will speak long and loud to EVERYONE I come in contact with to tell them what a dishonest company you are running. Unfortunately my contract is not up until October but the minute that happens, I am switching to another company. Consumers BEWARE!!!
