In Oct. 2006 I ordered a set of DVD's titled "WKRP In Cincinnati". It arrived in Dec. 2006 (18 DVD's in the set).

I immediately started to view them and found the second one defective (blank spots, distorted views & sound). I reported this to the company immediately and told them I would review all of the 18 DVD's and advise them which were defective and needed to be replaced.

This is my first notification to the company - " I recently purchased the DVD series "WKRP in Cincinnati" from you and it arrived in the mail yesterday.

I have only begun to review each of the 18 CD's that are included and have already discovered one segment is defective. This defect is on Volume 1, Disc #2, track 5, titled "Johnny Comes Back" and starts 7 minutes into the track. There a (3) three different blanks spots which total about 1 minute of play time on that disc at this location. I checked the back side of the disc and I find no scratches or dirty area at all.

I am afraid if I wait too long to report this problem, that you will not make the replacement for me, but I want to have ample time to review all of the DVD's to ensure there is no other defects found. Since there are 18 DVD's to review, this may take me sometime to accomplish.

Please advise me if you will make a replacement for DVD #2 at this time or wait until I have had the opportunity to review them all?

Thanking you in advance for help in this matter."

This is their reply 2 days later - "We apologize for all the inconvenience it caused you. If you want, instead of refunding we will replace the whole set for you on our own expense. Please let us know your decision when you reply to this email and kindly indicate also your order number. Thank you for your time and patience.

Sincerely,
Jen

After reviewing all 18 DVD's in the set, I found only one (1) was not defective. I notified them of this problem and was advised they had sent me a refund of $65.98.

After one (1) year and 19 e-mail requests to this company for a refund or replacement with a usable product and 18 replies of promises to refund my money, I still have no refund or replacement.
