The First Capital Consumers Group called my from a credit app I filed and advised me I was approved for a credit card. I was to told they needed additional info before it could be processed. They said they needed my visa debit card number for SECURITY reasons only. And like an idot, I gave it to them.
I was told there would be application fees but it would be applied to my new credit card. But instead it was debited out of my checking account for amount of $199. Which of course was not in my budget.
A few months later I recieved a packet in the mail from this company full of BS pamphlets and a Value Mastercard post card to sign and return. And once I signed it I should thn recieve my credit card. This mastercard they were talking about turned out to be a credit card they were talking about was a pre-paid credtit card. Which now, by the way you can purchase at you local convient store.
Therefore, I wrote a letter requested my money back and returned their package. Only to recieve letters back from a mail drop, which was given as the company's address.
Needless to say, I have learned a hard lesson.
Sincerly,
