I sent a time-sensitive package overnight for delivery the next day. To and from Los Angeles area. No signature required by attorney addressee, who has been in that office for 7 years. Correct address and suite number. Delivery address is a secure building.
DHL went to the delivery address and did not leave the package for three days running. DHL is unable to explain why the package was not left (i.E. Not delivered). On attempt No. 3, the driver suddenly decides that the package could not be delivered because there was no business name given.
DHL did not call my 2 contact phone numbers. The package then "fell-off the face of the earth" for 30 days. DHL cannot explain. The tracking number was automatically deleted from the tracking system after 30 days. Then, DHL returned the package to the sending location, with no explanation. The package was dirty and had been torn open. It looked like it had been "to hell and back". Their delivery system seems to have a "black hole".
I called DHL and requested answers. The stonewalling began, along with further incompetence. Numerous phone calls with clueless people after wasting my time on hold. Then a form letter apologizing, with no return phone number. Their promise of 3 free shipping envelopes was not kept.
