Matthew Waddell Atty in Torrance CA ripped me off, didn't help my case and then quite, left me stranded. He didn't help me to get fair child support. Slow call backs, was no help in getting me any justice. Overcharged. False statements on website. He is not helpful in getting me a fair deal and almost seemed to be working for my ex-wife. Then he quite working for me
I'm writing this for my brother, he is at his wits end. Not only did he hire this attorney to help him, this attorney was his last hope in getting some help when it came to his divorce.
My brother hired Matt Waddell to be his divorce lawyer and gave him a $5000.00 retainer. M.W. Was suppose to help get him fair deals regarding support when it came to spousal support and child support. As it turned out, the courts screwed my brother over, demanded he pay 3800.00 to his two kids and spousal support, said my brother had to live and pay the mortgage and insurance in the marital house that was in another state (M.W. Did not check to see if this was legal, which we have since found out it isn't).
My brother needed questions answered and problems solved that only his attorney could do, Matthew Waddell never, at any time, represented my brother honestly and in a timely, professional matter.
When the ex-wife should have been reprimended for illegal activities, M.W. Did nothing to ensure justice prevailed. When the ex-wife was ordered to supply information within a certain amout of days and she didn't, M. Waddell told my brother there was nothing he could do. But by God, my brother better not ignore a court order!!!
M. W charged my brother for every little thing, phone calls, letters, he even charged him $60.00 to fax one paper to the ex-wife attorney.
The ex-wife is in contempt of court and M. Waddell didn't file charges. M. Waddell seemed uninterested in helping my brother get fair legal advise and/or representation.
M. Waddell knows that because of the court orders my brother is in the red, so Matthew Waddell said he was looking to put a lean on my brothers house in order to get payment. My brother said that would be okay, but Matthew Waddell decided to stop representing my brother anyway. I guess because he wasn't getting his money fast enough. Matthew Waddell was more interested in getting his money than being the caring attorney his web site pretends he is.
