Dwaine Thomas was the power-of-attorney for my 96 year old brother. He alsowas acting as my brother's care taker. My brogher had a very good nurse who not only took good care of him, but kept his house clean and cooked very good meals for him. Dwaine, as power of attorney cme in and fired her and said he would take care of my brother.
After the nurse left, he begain to mistreat my brother and took money out of my brother's bank accout. He threatened to sell my brother's home and put him in a nursing home.
My brother is of sound mind and once he could contact a neighbor without the fear of being hurt, he called and had Dwaine taken out of his house and appointed another power of attorney and got his nurse back. Dwaine Thomasis had been in my Brother's will to inherit his home, but he has since removed him from the will and had all the locks changed on the house.
Dwaine still liven only a coupleof houses from my brother and my brother is still afraid of the man. I wish he could be forced to move from the neighborhood. The house he land his house is on was given to him by my brother and I think my brother probably paid of building the house.
