I purchased a prepay (pay as you go) phone from att, and i used my debit card. I was very careful on not using my minutes, only for emergencies, leaving a balance still of 59.00 on the account. Well, next thing i know, i am shut off, no minutes, no phone. I asked them what happens to my 59.00 still left on the account, which they said was canceled because they hadnt heard from me.
I was in the process of moving to ok. And havent changed my debit card yet. According to them (att) that money is theirs, and i have no phone. They certainly are not a pay as you go. Now they want me to put more money on my debit card, then call them, and they will turn my phone back on.
