Spellmaker.com, Sheergoddess, Voodoo Boutique Be Careful! Ripoff

Okay, I came across this website when I was at my most vulnerable stage. I don't want to bad mouth them too much, because for a while I thought I was seeing results. I have been their customer for some years now. However, as the time goes by, I can't help but noticing business practices that I did not agree with, not to mention their forum on yahoo.

First off, imagine my surprise when I ordered a spell kit and some candles from them and the white female candle candle came with a "made in china" sticker on the bottom! In the spellmaker website, the make it sound as if they make their own candles. I did some search online, and found other websites that sell the very same candles (while female candle, brown female candle, you name it)!

Of course, although I felt funny about it, I kept buying their spell kits. I also joined their online forum, which is HEAVILY guarded to the teeth! I mean, NOBODY was allowed to make ANY KIND of negative response to Mambo Sam or her products. Some of my complaints were not registered on the forum because the forum manager (who are also Mambo Sam's case workers) refuses to approve of the messages.

Other messages that I wrote that were not approved by the forum was my reply to a woman who was using spellmaker products to break up a marriage between a married couple (the woman was in love with a man who happened to be married). I posted a message questioning the woman's actions — why bother trying to break up a marriage? Find someone else! When I asked the forum manager why my message was denied posting, they simply said "your comments were not appropriate for this situation." When I kept asking what they meant by this, the forum manager wrote back and said, "only Mambo Sam can determine if the relationship is worth pursuing or not." In other words, they don't want people from discouraging their members from buying their products!!!

Another message of mine that was denied posting was along the same lines. Another female member was venting about her HD (heart's desire). She sounded as if she was in such emotional wreck and it seemed like what she really needed was a therapy, NOT a spell kit. Her HD clearly sounded like a guy who was just using her for sex and stringing the poor woman along for the ride. So, I posted a message stating that she should let the guy go, since he is not worth her time. Again the same message from spellmaker: "your comments were not appropriate for this situation" because "only Mambo Sam can determine if the relationship is worth pursuing or not."

Their psychic Mary is also questionable. She is not genuine. I had two readings with her and both times she said two completely conflicting things. First time she mentioned that me and boyfriend will be together for the long term. The second time I had a reading from Mary (which was only a few months later) she said that the guy I was dating is NOT WILLING TO COMMIT!!! Dude, I didn't even ask about my boyfriend and she just brought it up. After that, I stopped asking for readings from Mary. If she is a real psychic, couldn't she keep her readings straight? Well, now I am MARRIED to that guy who, according to Mary, was not willing to be in a committed relationship. What the hell was that?
Also, the spellmaker.com regularly lures their clients to buy more products through forum discounts and such. Lately they've been having strings of sales, so I don't if this means Mambo Sam will soon pack up and leave or if they are feeling the pinch (I've noticed that the number of messages posted on the forum has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY which might mean less people are buying her stuff).

Now Mambo Sam is hosting a voodoo conference and charging each person who wants to participate 500 dollars a pop!

I just want to tell people out there who are interested in buying products from spellmaker.com or from Sheer Goddess or Cosmic Voodoo Dog, or whatever company or store associated with Mambo Sam to BE CAREFUL!!! They keep telling you to buy more and more things and before you know it, you'll be sitting on a pile of debt!!!
