My husband and I purchased a home on 03/23/07. This is the second week of April when I noticed my air condition wasn't getting cold. So, I called First American to have the unit serviced.
First American said someone will call me within 24-48 hrs. I was contacted by Supreme Quality Heat & Air. I scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out and service my air condition. Needless to say, no one never showed up. I called again and scheduled another time. The appointment is scheduled for 05/18/07. A technician showed up and fixed the air condition unit. The guy mentioned another part is needed, but it first has to be approved through my warranty company (First American) well weeks went by and I heard nothing, now my air condition unit is not working at all. I called numerous times and was told someone will come out. After speaking with a few supervisors to get this situation resolved another technician came out and stated the compressor is overheating and I need a new compressor. Which I confirmed the compressor is covered through my warranty. Well, weeks went by, now we are in the month of June. Finally I heard from First American and was told its not covered because Supreme Quality Heat & Air said the compressor broke because of lack of maintenance. Remind you, I just purchased the home on 03/23/07. I did not have time to have any maintenance. As of today, I am still going rounds and rounds with First American. I live in California and its been over 100 degrees and I have two small children. I would not suggest this company to ANYONE not even my worst enemies.
