Miniville Yorkies, Mike Striplin, And Gayla Striplin
Misrepresentation, Very Dishonest, Deceitful, False advertisement, did not receive what was paid fo

In September Gayla Striplin was sent a check for $2350.00 for a puppy she had advertised on a website. The ad read, "I have a couple of little boys left that will be around 3 pounds full grown. Tiny baby doll faces and each one is full of Champion bloodlines."

When Gayla was contacted before the money was sent by Deborah, she was assured by Gayla the puppy would be tiny, no health issues in the lines, full of Champions in the pedigree and would be an excellent little dog for breeding. Gayla was very well aware that the pup was being purchased to be used as a future stud.

When Deborah explained to Striplin we could not make the 8 hour trip to her home to pick the little guy up, she assured Deborah she could safely fly the pup to us, she does it all the time. Money sent now Deborah is told by Striplin the pup is in Texas and the mother has no champions in her pedigree.

We left to pick the pup up at the airport one morning only to be half way there when Gayla calls and says the pup was not sent. The airport is 3 1/2 hours from us. We return home to a message on the answering machine from Gayla stating the pup will be in Kansas City airport that night. Eight hour drive one way for us.

Striplin was told when first contacted about the pup we could not make the 8 hour drive. The pup was to be sent to St Louis airport. Gayla was contacted and again was told this. She made another date to pick him up at St Louis airport.

The puppy arrived at St Louis airport almost dead and was not the puppy paid for. This was a large puppy and also had a large open fontanel. Gayla was contacted by airport personnel and was told the condition the pup arrived in and was also told by Deborah at this point it was not the pup Gayla sold us.

Gayla said to put the pup back on the plane to Texas. We have documentation from the airport. The pup's life was saved by Deborah. Gayla resold the pup a week later and Deborah had to meet the people, a 2 hour drive one way, to pick up the pup.

Gayla admitted this was not the pup that was purchased. We purchased a 8 week old puppy and according to Gayla this was a 4 month old puppy. What happened to the puppy Gayla was sent $2350.00 for that she had advertised as hers that was supposed to be full of Champion bloodlines?

The Striplins were asked repeatedly to return the money by me and Deborah. We were forced to take another pup from the Striplins, as we were told to take it or receive nothing. We were told the second puppy was out of their best stock and "comes from an excellent pedigree."

Mike Striplin met us with the second puppy in a town he said he was going to, to see his parents for Christmas. Another 2 1/2 hour drive for us one way.

When looking at the AKC papers Mike was questioned by Deborah as to why was the sires name on the pedigree Gayla sent us not the same as the sire on the AKC papers. Mikes reply was the sire on the pedigree had been dead for over a year. For Deborah to take it up with Gayla.

The pup was picked up very late Friday night and was seen by a vet Tuesday. It was found the pup had on testicle. Another vet in the office checked the pup with the same finding. It was suggested that the pup be returned to the Striplins.

Deborah contacted Gayla that day and told her the vet's findings. The Vet contacted Gayla the next day and she was told the testicle would not come down, this is hereditary and they needed to take the pup back immediately.

Deborah contacted Mike the next day. Mike said the vet did not say that but if the vet felt they needed to take him back now they would. He told her to contact her vet and talk to him and if he felt the pup needed to be returned now, they would take him back, and to call him the next day to let him know.

Deborah spoke with her vet the next day who told her he spoke to Gayla and told her the pup needed to be returned now, it is hereditary, and the testicle will not come down. Gayla told the vet if the testicle did not come down by six months of age they would take him back.

Deborah tried several times that day to call the Striplins, left messages, no returned call. I called on different occasions and left messages for them. No returned calls. Even tried the cell phone.

Mike Striplin answered the phone in August of which turned out to be another run around mess by Mike. He said we could have surgery done to the dog to bring the testicle down and he could be used for a stud. It is not hereditary.

The Striplins were sent yet another vet report from a third vet in August. The report read the testicle is not down, will not come down and yes it is hereditary. Again, they were asked to return the $2350.00.

Deborah filed a report on usacomplaints.com about this matter. Please read Mike Striplins reply.

I would like it to be known that Deborah has made no false or unfounded statements, as Mike Striplin implies. All statements by her and me are the truth of the nightmare experience with Miniville Yorkies, Mike and Gayla Striplin. After the wrong puppy was sent to us we have repeatedly asked that the $2350.00 be returned.

Mike Striplin states that we were given a free puppy. How can that be? Deborah sent Gayla Striplin a $2350.00 check, make out to Gayla Striplin and cashed by Gayla Striplin. Yet Gayla takes the first pup from us and resells it. So she collected money twice on one pup. Does not add up to free with my math.

Money sent, pup no longer has full of Champions pedigree as advertised and pup is in Texas with another breeder. We were also told by the Striplins we better be glad we did not keep the first pup as it grew to be large.

Mike acknowledges the open fontenal in the first pup in his letter of response to the Attorney Generals office. Read what he says about the open fonenal in his reply to Deborah's usacomplaints.com. Vets do not recommend breeding dogs with open fonts. It is Hereditary. It can also be a sign of hydrocephalus.

Mike also made the statement that an intoxicated male got on the phone with him in his letter to the Attorney Generals office. Read his reply to Deborah's usacomplaints.com. He again implies that a male possibly intoxicated got on the phone with him.

We met Mike Striplin to pick up the second pup. Mr Striplin knows we are older people. I am 60 years old and no I have at no time been intoxicated when speaking to Mike. I do not drink, as anyone that knows me can verify that. At no time have I cursed, threatened or belittled Mike and Gayla Striplin, as Mike implies. I have never spoken to Gayla Striplin.

So many people are finding that they are sending money to breeders for a certain puppy, only to receive NOT the puppy they paid for. I have read about this so many times and now am yet another victim of this from yet another breeder. PEOPLE BEWARE!!!

When dealing with breeders keep all documentation, and record phone conversations. We did. Miniville Yorkies, Mike and Gayla Striplin, again you are being asked to return $2350.00 and correct your wrong. You have done us very dirty. You are caught big time for your lies and deceit. If you were such a good business person we would not be here.
