Ripoff Deceitful Fraudulent Scam Artists Forget Customer Service Money-Hungry LIARS! Oakland Park - Fort Lauderdale

My wedding was October 18 and I still make sure that anyone who asks me about Photo Video Network knows to STAY AWAY FROM PHOTOVIDEO NETWORK, regardless of whether or not they have a deposit on them or not.

I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with this company and will share it so no one else will use this company.

When I had originally called to make an appointment to view the merchandise taken by the company, I was told that a representative meets at your residence and the office is only used for follow-up appointments. A gentleman from the company met at our house to discuss numerous photo and video packages. He sold us on utilizing the company, saying that whoever we chose to book for our wedding would be available, they would have two cameras in case something happened to the first one, they would use digital photos in addition to regular photos, we would get the negatives and the photographer would bring extra film. We were also told that if there was a problem with the photographer or videographer, a substitute would be immediately available. We booked with the company and paid extra for the photographer to have extra film on him because we knew we had a large family and would rather have too much film than not enough. We made sure that we paid 2/3 of our bill, as requested by the company, prior to the event, and awaited our wedding day.

Day of the wedding... The photographer arrived late. He ran out of film after our ceremony and asked us what pictures we wanted at the reception because he only had ten pictures left. Near hysterics and ready to commit bodily harm to the photographer, our DJ from another company began calling photographers he knew to try and get them to come to our wedding IN PROGRESS!!! He also made an announcement at the wedding for GUESTS TO TAKE PICTURES FOR US because the photographer RAN OUT OF FILM!!! Additionally, the photographer WOULD NOT USE anyone else's camera at the event and proceeded to stand against the wall doing nothing. I went up to him and asked him what he was doing and he stated he was staying for the next two hours even though he DIDN'T HAVE ANY FILM LEFT TO FILM THE WEDDING!!! I told my brother to throw him out, which he did. I also left numerous messages on

The video guy that was booked through the company attempted to do the best he could with the video, which we appreciate, but to be honest, we never watch it because I hate the company so much.

The day after the wedding, I called PhotoVideo Network ON THE WAY TO THE AIRPORT FOR MY HONEYMOON and spoke with the owner of the business, Jim Peters, who was not only rude but uncompromising. I told him how the photographer ran out of film, stood by and planned to do nothing for two hours, and put me into tears at my own wedding. "TOO BAD", he says. I told him I wanted to see the photos this guy took prior to paying any additional money, and he said, "No." Jim Peters ASSURED me the photos were fine, that the photographer was a FABULOUS guy, that everything would be fine, and that he never promised to have extra film (lies, have it in my contract AND paid extra for it) or a digital camera, or another photographer available for the event in case we have problems with the current photographer (another lie, check our contract).

Needless to say, I was sick as a dog on my honeymoon because of the stress, was crying throughout because I knew the photos from the day were ruined, and could not believe how anyone could treat a bride and groom like that on their wedding day and continue to do so afterwards.

We got back from our honeymoon, paid to see the proofs, picked the basic pictures, and were told we would have to give back ALL OF THE PROOFS for them to make 20 photos for the album. I refused and they told us they wouldn't make our album, or any of the photos we paid for already without the proofs. I surrendered the proofs, and left the ratty office the company used.

I only ordered the basic album for my album and my mother's and mother-in-law's. We ended up purchasing the negatives additionally for $400 so I would never have to deal with them ever again.

A year later, my husband's boss asked my husband about the photo company we used since he put down $1,000 deposit for them for his daughter's wedding. I told his boss he should have asked me before putting the deposit down because I would have saved him $1,000. I told him our story and told him to lose the $1,000 and book with another company, which he did. His daughter's wedding went off without a hitch.

I hate photovideo network and hope they go bankrupt! They are horrible and i will continue to do anything i can to spread the word of how horrible they are!!!
