I was contacted back in the year 2001 by the President of Blue Model Group, Frank Molak. He had seen my picture on an online modeling forum and was interested in meeting. I met Frank later that week at his office in St Louis and he "signed" me on the spot and set up a photo shoot for my portfolio.
I paid $599 for my pictures to be taken and my portfolio to be made by one of Frank's friends. They were halfway decent pictures, but nothing special. About 4 weeks later, my modeling cards were done and were being presented to clients.
However, something very strange happened. All of a sudden one day, the whole agency seemed to shut down. No calls were returned, I couldn't even get ahold of Frank on his cellphone as it was shut off (disconnected). Girls who had paid thousands of dollars for "classes" and training with this agency were left in the cold. I managed to escape only losing $600 - but I know there were other girls who personally paid or whose parents personally paid thousands.
This is a warning to all aspiring models out there - beware of Blue Model Group/Jonathan Marcus/Frank Molak. This company swindles money out of young girls and then mysteriously disappears into the night.
