Let me start here I had taken out a payday loan with a company called Total lending around 1/2/07 they were taking I figured in a couple a week I would pay it off. Well around 2/9/07 I tried to pay this off I could not find a 800 number to contact them nor could if find there website.
Mean while they were taking $60.00 out of my account every two weeks. I finally got scared and decided to go to the bank and explain what was going on. So they stopped the company from taking further money from me.
Mind you this all happen in the last two week 4/2/07-4/12-07
After I had this happen I had gotten an email 4/4/07telling me Iwas delinqent on a loan and would like the amount of 250.00 emidiatly this was from a Ryan Hall. He did not tell me what company he was from or who he was collecting from. The next day I get a email from Total Lending saying my acount was delinqent and my bank had revoked them from taking any more payments out.
The sent me a form to fill but with no return address to send it to.
I relax on it a little bit but on 4/9/07 my some had taken money out of my bank acount for the sum of $180.00 when we look it up it was Westbury Venture and there was a 800 number with it.
I called it and when I tried to talk to the lady she would not let me get a word in edge wise she was very rude and very unprofessional. I was called a little kid and petty she also told me to call back when I was in a better mood. This mad me angry. I didn't even yell at the lady all I said to her is I think I should have a chance to explain myself and she hung the phone up.
I got an ansrew from that Ryan Hall on who the company was 4/10/07 and was also told they tried to be patient with me.
I also went to the bank and had them revoked and got my $180.00 back but not the $427 of overdraft and fees.
Something needs to be done about this company I would like all my money back.
