Doug, Debra Bell and Lisa Bodie-Mcdonald of DDR Arabians lease my broodmare for the breeding season of 2007. They pick the mare up on Oct. 31 st (they had her and the 6 old month filly).
I get a call of Lisa and Doug on Febuary 27th, that I need to pick up my mare the Collin County Animal Sevices are going to take my mare from their place. They said the filly die of colic.
They had the mare for four months, my vet if she was there another week she would have been dead. The 6 month filly was there for 3 weeks when they told me she die of colic, now we know it was sravation. Collin County Animal Services put to sleep 3 horses on there place a week before I pick of my mare.
They are still trying to get more horses/mares to breed.
