Butch Nelson Ripped me off of TWO WEEKS PAY SCAM BETWEEN GULF FLEET MANAGEMENT

I entered a contract with Quest Marine Employment to find employment for me. They sent me to Gulf Fleet Management in Lafayette, La. Who in turn hired me. I have been working in the oilfield for 9 years since leaving the Navy. I hold a USCG LICENSE as a DDEunlimted engineer and I am female. Gulf Fleet sent me to the Gulf Wind, a small supply boat.

To make a long story short the Captain (Dennis) of the vessel got bent out of shape about a safety issue that I questioned him about. Therefore, when I completed my 2 week hitch and went back to the office Sean Lassign did not want to hear my side of the story and relieved me of employment. Over safety. The safety man Sean Bray did not want to get involved Go figure. SAFETY FIRST RIGHT!!! Not at this company.

So I have been waiting for my check for 2 weeks and called Quest Marine Employment and explained what happened. That I was unjustly let go over trying to be SAFE. WHEN i FINALLY RECEIVED MY CHECK stub, Butch Nelson had butchered it. He took 2692.77 from me. I worked 10 days offshore for nothing. They did not attempt to locate a better job for me or anything. They were also too chicken to tell me about this plan over the phone, as I had called several times inquiring about my paycheck.

I believe that Butch Nelson did this in retaliation of me telling Gulf Fleet that I would be contacting the Coast Guard and Department of Labor over their practices.

This Captain Dennis, evidently told a lot of lies on me that all boiled down to the fact that I, a female engineer questioned him about safety. Sean Lassign said that I am not to question the Captain of the vessel. Ha... Bs... I am a licensed officer as well as he, I have the right to question safety if it is going to put the crew's life and mine in danger. 2 weeks prior to my boarding the veseel, I was told this same boat had carried radio active pipe from the rig back to the dock. Evidently the CAPTAIN and OFFICE will do anything to please the customer including putting the lives of the cre in danger to do so.
