This is exactly why infomercials have a bad reputation.
You call to order ONE item ($9.99). They are very persistent and usually you buy more just to get off the telephone. They do not mention that the book is USELESS unless you subscribe to the website.
Then you are AUTOMATICALLY signed up for a newsletter even if you say NO several times. They do not mention that is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel.
Then they try to talk you into 6 or 7 different promotions and keep you on the phone for 20 minutes.By the time you hang up, you have spend at least 5 to 6 times more than you anticipated.
The website claims you can send an e-mail to cancel automatically at any time. Wrong. Over the last 4 months I have sent several e-mails (all ignored) and was charged again this month.
My bank tells me my option is to cancel my account so they cannot access my money. You can imagine how much work this will be for me - all i want to is cancel - i have not even asked for my money back. If they were a reputable company, they would have offered to refund my money after I cancelled.
CAUTION: If you do not want charges taken out of your account indefinitely, THINK TWICE before giving your information to any Kevin Trudeau - Natual Cures - representative.
Kevin Trudeau needs to spend a little less time developing multiple websites (possibly so no one connects them?) and a LOT more time teach his people customer service.
Perhaps the BBB and AG would like to know how many people are being ripped off.
