Expensive Warrantech,

On 2/9/07 I called Warrantech, who called A&E (the neighborhood repair-service) to possess our fridge fixed. We've a four-year "Rapairmaster" guarantee. The fridge wasn't remaining chilly. They delivered a technician on 2/12, and he requested a component. A&E then proceeded to stop three effective fix calls on 2/14,2/17 and 2/19, declaring they required two repairmen to set up the component. My spouse and that I rescheduled our times every time to become awaiting the repairs. On a few of the times they didn't call to stop, simply waited for all of US to contact.

A technician finally arrived on, 2/20, and he explained that just one man was required, which he (who'd been the one who arrived the very first time and identified the issue and requested the component) never stated that several man could be required. Sadly, the component that were shipped was lacking a cable, therefore he explained he'd purchase it and return on Thursday, 2/22.

Obviously, the component hadn't come by Friday, therefore A& E terminated. At this time I named Warrantech plus they stated that they'd contact A&E. I noticed nothing, and so I named A&E, who stated that Maytag declined to deliver them the component. I told them that people had previously obtained the “Fan Engine Kit” from Maytag when, but that it had been lacking a cable. I recommended they attempt re ordering the entire package, that they did. They named later and stated it'd seriously Friday the 23rd and created a brand new visit for that evening. The component didn't appear and, therefore, thye terminated to get a 6th period.

Because The start of the tale I've voiced towards the following In A& E and at Warrantech: Mel, Linda, Steve, Bill, Chantelle, Nathaniel and Joe. The final two, at Warrantech, were especially unhelpful, not really attempting to commiserate within the proven fact that we shall quickly be with no fridge for three months. Nathaniel (id #2013) actually explained that “ it’s not necessarily our issue. It’s not our work to fix it, simply to determine it to someone to repair, and we did that.” Joe, his boss, proceeded to inform me how there is observing I really could do when the fridge didn't get fixed, despite waiting another week. He also told me how Warrantech wasn't liable. Then he set me on-hold, and later hung-up on me. Not the very best client relationships

Consequently of the bad support, we've been with no fridge for almost three months. We've two small kids and can't supply them without heading out towards the shop daily, after which tossing out the locations. Not just is that this harmful, but costly. We've re arranged our agendas many times and gotten no support. Why, precisely, did I purchase this guarantee? At what stage should I contact an attorney?
