Ripoff did not receive merchandise check cashed

In May ordered two pairs of slippers. Our check was cashed for $16.95 on May 8th. Never received the slippers. Did not know why until we found this Website. We were shocked to see just how many people have been ripped off. Noticed most complaints are from the East Coast. We are in California. It looks like a nationwide scam.
