I along with many others was sucked into the whole Direct Tv scam. I called and placed an order for Direct Tv to be installed in my home. Unfortuantely my credit isnt as it should be, so direct Tv asked that I pay a 200.00 deposit. I paid that on the phone during the same phone call. Three days later the technician came to my house to install the Direct Tv service. When he arrived he told me the Direct Tv service wouldnt work at my home because I have "too many trees". So he left and I immediatley got on the phone to customer service. I was trying to make sure the 200.00 deposit I paid would be credited back to my debit card. She said she would cancel the order and that the 200.00 would "auotmatically" be credited to my account. After the 5-7 buisness days went by that she suggested I wait the money was still not there so i called direct tv again.

This new csr assured me the account had not been cancelled. She " cancelled" it and assured me the money would be on my card in another 5-7 buisness days. Three days go by and I call to make sure the service was cancelled and the CSR I spoke to that time told me I dont know who you talked to but the service has not been cancelled. This time I spoke to a supervisor and he assured me the account had been cancelled. Three weeks going strong no signs of my money... HELP This will be reported to the State Attorney General.
