Pets Plus in Lawrenceville nj sold me a certified "healthy" puppy. My family got very attached to her as we are dog lovers and have a second dog. With in two the puppy became seriously sick we took it to the Vet who told us she had a heart murmur and was violently sick she was on IV and kept for two days. The vet then certified her as "unfit for sale" with a serious heart murmur. Heart murmurs can be detected as early as 8weeks and the Pets Plus did not indicate her murmur at time of sale. Now we are forced to send her back to the store where she will surely be put to sleep. Our family is heart broken and shocked. When talking to our vet we were told that the Pets Plus in Lawrenceville said "We would rather EAT our puppies than send them to a rescue shelter!" Shocked and saddened our little two pound puppy will surely be put to sleep by the pet store! They should not be alowed to sell dogs or any animals! My puppy was also, so they said given Bordetella shots but when we took her to the bet i was told she had Bordetella! How could this be if she was given the vaccine!?! Please help stop them from hurting more animals and families who buy sick puppies from them! Please!
