I started getting these mails in December last year. At first, I was excited who wouldn't be. I found out about free lotto by chance.
I opened the internet to read the latest on Jenniffer Aniston. A window popped up that said congratulations you are reader number 999 999 999 and have won a million dollars. They asked for my email address and postal address.
They said my check would be sent and that I would be notified by email. I was happy.in December, indeed was the email that said claim but now needed my master or visa card number. I don't have either. I replied to say I didn't have but the messages kept coming and still come today.
I asked my bank. They said money can be deposited into any account. That is when I began to think that this might be a scam. Is it?
