Before thanksgiving 06 me and my mom went into home depot to get 8 doors and frames for my home. 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, one closet and 2 exterior doors and storm door.
I paid in full and awaited for doors to be measured. Once measured i was told i would be contacted for doors to be installed. I heard nothing, and i had to keep calling and calling. Finally a date was set. One installer came for all 8 doors but he only came with one door. I asked him where the other doors were and he said he only had an order for one. He was furious with home depot as well. He went back to store and they could not find an order for the doors. Finally he came back with 6 doors and said he would have to come back the next day. There was an error on measurements on one exterior door. He came back the next day and installed the 3 bedroom doors, closet door and bathroom door. The front door he brought was damaged but he put it in anyway saying when he comes back with the other exterior and storm door to install when it comes in he will switch the damaged one with a good one. This was before christmas. It is now jan 22 and i still have no doors. Last week i called and a keysha from 1-900-9089105, she is manager, told me they would be installed this past sat, 20th of jan. I asked her to have someone call me to verify so i will be home and no one did so i called her and called her and called her, she would not come to the phone, someone either told me she was in a meeting or was with a customer. I left message after message, and she did not call. I still do not have my 2 exterior doors and storm door and i paid in full for all. The doors that were installed were installed wrong. You have to slam the door to close it which is very annoying. I should get a discount for all the errors that were made, not being able to find the correct orders on the computer, not installing correctly, doing wrong measurements, etc. This has all been very stressful, not the fact also that one exterior door is very, very easy to break into and one reason i needed this door as soon as possible. My energy bill has risen due to the bad door being bad with the frame. It is ready to fall down. This is not right for me to have this paid for in november and now january still not having my 2 exterior doors and storm door.
