On Tuesday, Dec 12,06 I was surfing the internet attempting to find the Dallas Housing Authority website to find out how register property for section 8 rental. I located the website and was in the process of obtaining the required information.
The screen changed to what I thought was part of the DHA and it gave me information about there not being a waiting list and that I could register online. The fee for this service was $8 for the online application. I put the $8 fee on my credit card. I was not directed to the application online nor any other information.
A receipt for the $8 was sent to my e-mail address by this company, but when I tried to log on to their address I was unable to. I feel that this company needs to be checked out because it is a scam that they are doing.
