Bought a Used CD Album from Wherehouse Music 6/28/02 around 3:30. The same day I had noticed that the CD contained a CD single, instead of the CD Album that didn't match.
I went back to the business the same day to report the mismatch and exchange for the same CD. Cashier agreed with me that when the company buys a Used CD they make sure that the CD and cover matched and that it is not right. I told him that it was not fair for their mistake and I would like my money refunded so I could buy the CD I want some where else. When he asked another employee, she automatically said No, without taking my explanation or looking at my receipt for consideration. She said that I bought the CD "A long time ago" (which was only several hours) and she couldn't not do anything.
I asked for company policy, which she didn't know. So I asked for it in writing, which she couldn't produce. I finally asked her for the Manager and her title. She answered Assistant Manager, and under her breath, in front of other co-workers and customers, said "So I don't have to deal with people like you".
Then her name was asked so I could report the matter to her Manager.
